“Bulk Billing” items refer to conditions that are covered by Medicare and its qualifying criteria. Details are available at the Department of Health and Ageing’s Medicare Benefits Schedule.
Bulk Billing refers to where the doctor bills Medicare directly for a medical or allied health service that you receive. You’ll need a Medicare card to be bulk billed. The Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) lists the services you may get at a lower cost. See if your service is on the MBS list on the Department of Health MBS Online website
